Description

The beautiful and luxurious group holiday home “Zur Post” is only three kilometers away from the old town of Monschau. At the old half-timbered facade you can see the rich history that goes back to 1863. It’s used as a post office and since 1975 as hotel, the current Dutch owners have converted it into a very comfortable guest house, where up to 36 guest are welcome. The building has a total floor area of 500 m² and is located on a plot of 1.650 m².

Many facilities such as a supermarket, bakery and restaurants are easily reachable on foot. The bus to Monschau stops directly in front of the Haus. The entrance to the Eifel National Park is located at 100 meters from the house. From here you can discover different hiking, cycling and mountain biking trails, horse-drawn carriage rides and much more. At 3 km there is a summer toboggan run and with winter snow you can enjoy the ski-slopes.

The house has 12 bedrooms, most of them with private showers. 36 beds. On the ground floor there are two spacious bedrooms with each a seperate badroom.
A café and lounge area, large party- / dining room, children’s area and a professional kitchen, large enclosed garden with barbecue and furniture and private parking make this luxurious group holiday house complete.

The offer includes the property including the business of running the concept. The current owner manages all bookings himself so the rental costs don't apply to him. If a buyer decides to manage the bookings too then the yield will increase.
