At the end of the seventies the house was used by a painter who had his studio there.

The characteristic large overhangs, above the large windows with insulated glazing and rods distribution, allow for various seating areas under the overhang around the house.

Next to the country house is the 40 m2 wooden garage with double wooden entrance doors and a wicket door in the side wall. In the garage there is a fixed staircase to the first floor. This space has a modern finish and two dormers. The floor is now used as a bedroom and a workshop. Behind the garage is the large veranda built with space for the large lounge-sitting area where it is lovely to stay with family and friends until late in the evening by the fire of the gas fire. The terrace connects the other roof for wood storage and seating. In the right corner is the jacuzzi. Here there is an unobstructed view of the beautiful free air with sun or the beautiful starry sky. There is a risk that you will find both equally pleasant. The jeu de boules court of 10x3 meters also offers a nice relaxation and possibilities to enjoy the competition with family or friends and to toast the beautiful things in life.

The plot has been landscaped to fit in with the surroundings with a forest character. The whole looks as if nature has designed it itself and is situated on the South. From the lawn the paths meander through the own forest with several benches. From the rear there is a direct connection to the publicly accessible forest, which runs along riding stables Riant to Hoenderloo, and offers beautiful walking and cycling routes. At the front of the plot there is a wooden fence. The gravelled driveway leads to the parking in front of the garage and further along the garage to the large terraces with anthracite-coloured tiles around the house and the garage.

Ugchelen offers the intimacy of a village with the comforts of a town, with a pleasant shopping offer, catering, sports facilities including tennis and football, medical facilities and schools. There are many cycling or walking opportunities in the nearby woods and in the rolling forest and heath landscape of 'Het Leesten'. The connection to the A1 and A50 motorways can be reached within five or ten minutes respectively. Moreover, there is a good connection with public transport to the centre of Apeldoorn.

The cosy Z-shaped living room is garden-oriented and the tastefully furnished dining room forms the warm heart of the three rooms. All with their own character and yet a pleasant connection. The sitting area on the right side of the Z-shape is furnished with a large lounge sofa and comfortable seating elements. The wood-burning fireplace emphasises the cosy atmosphere in this part of the living area. The dining room is spacious and tastefully furnished with room for 10 people. The light in this room comes in from all sides and makes it pleasant in all seasons.
The second sitting area centres around the modern remote controlled gas fireplace. This room is also a wonderful place to relax. The gas fire makes it possible, if desired, to enjoy the flames for a short time on a bleak evening or after a lovely night out.
In all parts of the living room there is a view of the outside area. The back door and the sliding doors give access to the adjoining terrace where from early spring until late autumn you can enjoy the beautiful days and nature.

The kitchen is located at the front of the house and overlooks the front and side garden from sitting height. The U-shaped kitchen arrangement has high gloss white fronts. The cupboards and drawers offer plenty of storage space. Built-in appliances include a dishwasher, combi oven/microwave, 5-burner gas hob and a stainless steel chimney. Furthermore, the kitchen has an American fridge-freezer with ice machine. The lighting in the kitchen is dimmable and there are spotlights in the flat plastered ceiling. The side window and the two Velux skylights provide pleasant daylight.

At the rear of the living room is the current utility room with storage space and connections for washing equipment. This space has not yet been rebuilt and also has the dated interior of the former 2nd bathroom with a sunken shower room, toilet and washbasin.

Floor:
The entire floor has plastered walls and ceilings and laminate floors and a white wood tint. The master bedroom is located at the rear and has a four-door recessed storage and cupboard space. Incidence of light comes from the double facade window. The second bedroom also has fitted wardrobes and is almost identical in finish. The third bedroom has a dormer window and a walk-in dressing room which has two doors at the rear to the storage space with the Vaillant HR combi boiler. All rooms have beautiful views over the private grounds.

On the other side of the landing is the complete and modern bathroom. The wall and floor tiles used have the appearance of concrete walls and the recessed lighting makes the room attractively illuminated. This does even more justice to the spa feeling of the room. Classified with a large duo bath with shower facilities, a washbasin with two sinks and wall taps. Above is a large anti-condensation mirror with indirect lighting and two lamps. The bathroom has underfloor heating and high placed windows with natural ventilation.

Living and working in the country house can easily be combined with an outdoor life. The surroundings are surprisingly free and unexpectedly quiet, not remote but rather sheltered. One can justifiably speak of safe living in nature, where all facilities are accessible within 5 to 10 minutes.
